NEN 7510

Certification Logo

NEN 7510 is the Dutch standard for information security in the healthcare sector. The standard is based on ISO 27001 and ISO 27002, but contains additional requirements specifically aimed at the secure handling of medical and health data. The purpose of NEN 7510 is to ensure that sensitive healthcare information is carefully protected and that the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of this data is guaranteed.

For Fellow Digitals, working in accordance with NEN 7510 means that we pay extra attention to the protection of health and patient data when our solutions are used in healthcare. We set up our processes and systems in such a way that only authorized persons have access to sensitive information and that data is stored, processed, and shared securely. This includes measures in the areas of access management, logging and monitoring, secure data transfer, and clear procedures for incident and data breach management.

In addition, NEN 7510 requires organizations to continuously identify and manage risks related to information security. At Fellow Digitals, we therefore carry out periodic risk analyses and checks to ensure that our security measures remain effective and in line with current threats and requirements within the healthcare sector. We also focus on raising awareness among employees and establishing clear agreements with customers and partners about the secure processing of data.

By working in accordance with the principles of NEN 7510, we emphasize that the protection of sensitive healthcare information is a high priority. It helps us to provide reliable and secure digital solutions to organizations in the healthcare sector and to ensure the trust of patients, healthcare professionals, and partners.
